Dana White, founder of The Female Filmmaker’s Initiative is an award-winning filmmaker and Assistant Professor in the School of Media and Journalism. Dana started FFI in 2019 as a way to foster a female film culture here at Kent State with a mission to champion creative equality for female filmmakers.
“We have nothing without our voices and as female artists it is imperative that our voices matter in the world. The Female Filmmakers Initiative seeks to empower the voices and creative spirits of women around the world.” dw.
